Vocational Camp at the Diocese of Shimoga
Shivamogga, April15, 2026: A vocation promotion camp was organized in conjunction with the Diocesan Biblical Catechetical Commission at Sannidhi, Shivamogga, on April 10, 2026.
On April 9th at 4 p.m., Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Director for Vocation Promotion and Formation, led a session on “Diocesan Mission of the Diocese of Shimoga and How to Discern Vocation.” At 6:30 p.m., he led a healing adoration for the 102 participants who had completed their SSLC.
On the 10th, Fr. Roman Pinto led a session on leadership. Subsequently, priests and religious from various congregations spoke about three charisms to the attendees. Apostolic Administrator Delegate Msgr. Stany D’Souza spoke on the importance of vocation and discernment.
The program concluded at 2 p.m. Three candidates responded positively to the Diocese of Shimoga.
