Youth Council Consultation at Yuvamitra
Youth Council consultation meeting was held at Yuvamitra, Youth center of the diocese of Shimoga on April 14, 2024. Parish ICYM and YCS unit presidents and secretaries were present for the consultation meeting. Diocesan council members and diocesan team of students joints organized this program.
The meeting commenced with the Holy Eucharist offered by Fr Pius D’Souza the youth director and Dn Nishanth Anthony D’Costa delivered the heart touching homily. After the Holy Eucharist there was short break for interaction and tea.
Fr Pius D’Souza in his keynote address explained the purpose of the consultation meeting. Thereafter he invited all the members to tune their minds to share their ideas and views on upcoming youth convention and job fare. Youth leaders also shared their ideas on upcoming youth events. This planning and consultation gathering served as a platform to strategize and organize the next significant event for the Diocese, fostering unity and collaboration among its members.
