The CCBI Deputy Secretary General unveiled the ICYM silver jubilee souvenir in Gurugram, Haryana.
Haryana, May 22, 2025: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) commemorated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative souvenir launch in Delhi on May 21, 2025, celebrating 25 years of faith, fellowship, and service. The CCBI Youth Commission created this souvenir to honour this milestone, showcasing ICYM’s journey over the past two and a half decades.
Fr. Stephen Alathara, Deputy Secretary General of the CCBI, officially released the souvenir during the YCS/YSM National Students Training Programme at the Sofar Convention Centre, Gurugram, on May 21, 2025.
The event included Fr. Chetan Machado, Executive Secretary of the National Youth Commission; Fr. Charles Menezes, former IYCS Chaplain; Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Youth Secretary of the Shimoga Diocese as well as former National Youth Director of CBCI; Fr. Edwin D’Souza, former DYD and resource person from Udupi; and Ms. Supriya, General Secretary of ICYM.
This souvenir includes articles written by young people, photographs documenting ICYM’s 25-year history, and other insightful content highlighting the movement’s mission, growth, and national impact.
