Taize Prayer at Good Shepherd Church, Gopala, Shivamogga 

Shivamogga, March 29, 2026: A soul-stirring Taize prayer was held at Good Shepherd Church, Gopala, Shivamogga, on Palm Sunday, led by Fr. Nishanth Anthony D’Costa. The 6:00 p.m. prayer immersed devotees in silence, song, and meditation, fostering a deep connection with Jesus Christ.

Kelvin’s keyboard accompaniment enhanced the Taize chants, sung softly and repetitively. A Bible reading and minutes of silence followed, allowing the faithful to connect with God. Intercessions were offered for world peace, families, youth, the sick, and the church.

The event nurtured community and deepened devotion. A meal was served to all attendees. Parish Priest Fr. Stephen Albuquerque welcomed and thanked everyone .
