Pre Regional Youth Convention Meeting Held at Diocese of Bellary 

Ballari, August 18, 2025: On August 16th, 2025, the Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) organized the Pre-Regional Youth Convention (Pre-RYC) which is going to be held at Karwar from October 2 – 5, 2025 meeting at St Antony’s Community Hall, Ballari. The event witnessed the participation of 35 members along with the presence of KRYC Chairman Bishop Rev. Dr Henry D’Souza, Regional Youth Director Fr Ashwin Cardoza, and KRYC Coordinator Ms Vileena Gonsalves.

The day began with breakfast, followed by the formal inaugural program at 10:00 a.m. The program included a prayer led by the choir, Bible reading, and a reflection by Fr Paul Moras, Director of St. Antony’s Community Hall. The welcome address was followed by messages from Dean Fr Leo Michael, Vicar General Msgr D. Vincent, and Bishop Rev. Dr. Henry D’Souza.

The sessions continued with updates on the 13th Yuvajanostava 2025, presented by the KRYC Coordinator. Various committees shared their preparation reports and requested valuable insights from dioceses and movements. Adding to the discussions, Fr Silvan, the Diocesan Youth Director of Karwar, the host diocese, presented their plans and contributions for the convention.

The meeting concluded at 4:00 p.m. with fruitful discussions, ideas, and insights that strengthened the preparation journey towards the upcoming Yuvajanostava 2025.
