COMMUNIO Sunday Celebration at Good Shepherd Church Gopala, Shivamogga 

Shivamogga, January 4, 2026: On 4/01/2026 the Communio Sunday was celebrated in our Good Shepherd, Gopala.

The Holy Mass was devoutly celebrated at 8:30 a.m by Rev. Fr Stephen Albuquerque the Parish Priest. In his homily he highlighted the importance of Communio and its mission.  He invited youth to inculcate zeal for the mission. 

During the Holy Mass, the Oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected ICYM office bearers was also held. The office bearers took an oath in the presence of God, promising to carry out their responsibilities faithfully.

After the Holy Mass, an ICYM members’ meeting was organized & Animators were also Present. Our Parish priest, Rev. Fr Stephen Albuquerque took the Part of the meeting as the ICYM Director of the Parish unit. He guided the members about the future programs of the association, the role of youth, and service activities & Responsibility.

The meeting was successfully concluded in a peaceful, disciplined, and cooperative Atmosphere.
