YCS/YSM unit visit to Our Lady of Health Minor Basilica, Harihara, Diocese of Shimoga

July 6, 2026: Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Shimoga Diocesan Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga, visited the YCS/YSM unit of Our Lady of Health Minor Basilica, Harihara, on July 5th, 2026.

Parish Priest Fr. George K. A. welcomed Fr. Franklin D’Souza. Then he addressed the topics of the brief history of YCS/YSM, its methodology, cell meetings, and also spoke on the importance of this movement in the lives of teenagers. He also gave news about the diocesan program and plan for the next six months. 

YCS/YSM President Jacinta thanked Fr. Franklin D’Souza. Animator Mr. Edwin was present for the meeting. The meeting concluded with a prayer and blessing by Fr. Franklin D’Souza.
