ICYM Organizes Taizé Prayer Service for Youth and Parishioners at Davangere

Davangere, March 26, 2026: On Saturday, 21st March 2026, the ICYM members from St. Thomas Church Davangere organised a Taizé Prayer Service for the youth and parishioners. The altar was prayerfully decorated with lamps, bricks, and red cloth, while a Taizé Cross was creatively designed and prepared by the youth, creating a serene and reflective atmosphere.

During the service, the youth led the gathering in meditative Taizé hymns and silent prayer. Special intentions were offered for world peace, for those suffering due to wars and conflicts, and for the SSLC and PUC students appearing for their board examinations. 

The prayer service was led by Fr. Anthony Nazareth, and the youth coordination was undertaken by the ICYM President, Mr. Kenneth, along with the active participation of the youth members.

The programme concluded with food being arranged and served to all the parishioners.
