ICYM DEXCO & YCS/YSM DTS Meeting held at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga.

Shivamogga, January 20, 2026: ICYM DEXCO & YCS/YSM DTS Meeting held at Diocese of Shimoga. The meeting was organized by Diocesan Youth Director Fr. Franklin D’Souza at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga on January 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The meeting began with a prayer led by Ms. Beena, and blessings by Fr. Franklin D’Souza. ICYM President Ms. Lenny D’Sa welcomed the leaders. Then Fr. Franklin D’Souza introduced the missions of ICYM, YCS/YSM, COMMUNIO, YU4C, MAGIS, and AICUF. Participants introduced themselves to the group.

After the tea break, the meeting resumed with the agenda of the day: discussions on the yearly planner in detail and also the roles and responsibilities of the elected leaders throughout the year.

At 12:30 p.m., Fr. Franklin D’Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and preached a homily on commitment to the call given in the youth ministry of the Diocese of Shimoga. At the end of the Mass, Ms. Josephine Sadhana, YCS/YSM Vice President, thanked everyone. The meeting concluded at 1:30 p.m. with lunch.
