ICYM DEXCO and YCS/YSM Meeting held at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga 

November 3, 2025: ICYM DEXCO and YCS/YSM Meeting held at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga on November 2, 2025 from 9am to 1pm. 

At 10am Fr Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Youth Director offered Holy Eucharist for the departed Youth of Diocese of Shimoga. He explained about the importance of gift of life and how to nurture life with the help of faith and prayer. He expressed his deep sentiments for the youth those who lost their lives due to various reasons. He specially prayed for the departed Youth of the Diocese of Shimoga. 

At 11am meeting began. Ms Beena led the opening prayer with a hymn of Holy Spirit. Then ICYM President Mr Suhas Martin welcomed everyone. Joint Secretary Mr Stephen Lobo briefed about the minutes of Previous meeting. 

Then President led the meeting with day’s agenda namely;

Director Fr Franklin D’Souza gave importance tips to leaders and their responsibilities as well as commitment to the call as leaders in the Diocese. Apart from DEXCO and DTS members Sr. Ophilia and Animator Mr Gagan Raj were present for the meeting.  

Meeting concluded with the lunch.
